Guest Information
When you arrive at our cabin you check yourselves in, you will have an email with all the information you need prior to your arrival. A welcome homemade loaf of bread, some butter and fresh milk is provided. We also provide a complimentary basket of logs.
What’s included
There’s a basic functional kitchen that has a whistling kettle, toaster, air fryer and gas hobs. All crockery, pans and utensils are supplied along with washing up liquid, cloths and towels. There’s also a DAB radio and Bluetooth speaker.
We have a travel cot, high chair and cute mini plastic plates, cups and cutlery for little ones too.
Bed linen and hand towels are provided along with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand wash and loo roll.
There’s running hot water, flushing loos and really good showers!
Check in / Check out
Check in is from 3pm and checkout is by 11am.
WiFi & mobile phone signal
Good 5G mobile reception for those on the EE network. Otherwise we have a 4G router in the cabin.
Pets
Sadly as we are a working farm we do not allow pets.
Parking
When you arrive, you park up in the private car park and take a short walk across a field to the cabin which is tucked away behind a tall hedge.
If you arrive after dark we provide a really bright rechargeable torch – this will be hanging on the gatepost in the car park.
We also provide wheelbarrows to help you get your belongings from the car to the cabin.
Eco-friendly
Being organic farmers we’re always super-conscious of chemical use and reducing waste. We use eco-friendly Who Gives a Crap toilet paper which is plastic-free and made with sustainable materials. The shampoo, conditioner, body wash and hand wash we provide is from Faith in Nature who use sustainable, cruelty free, ethical, biodegradable ingredients. These toiletries are purchased in bulk so we refill the little bottles to cut down on single use plastic. All cleaning products are from the eco-friendly brands Ecover and Bio-D.
Shops & supplies
Glyn Ceiriog has a Spar shop and Post Office for your basic essentials.
Chirk has a 24hr BP garage and an M&S Food Shop.
Jamie Ward’s Butchers in Chirk is our favourite local butcher they do fantastic take out sandwiches and picnic food too.
Oswestry has Morrisons, Sainsburys, Aldi, Lidl, Co-op, McDonalds and Costa.
Llangollen has Aldi and Home Bargains
